EIS Product Description

The Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy system provides a comprehensive set of tools for Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy.

As in all modern EIS systems, the software uses a computer to automate EIS data-acquisition and assist in data-analysis. The software operates under the Gamry Framework™, which in turn operates under the Microsoft Windows® operating environment. The Framework provides an easy-to-use interface and powerful script interpreter that are shared by all Gamry Instruments’ Windows-based software.

The software runs standard EIS experiments at the click of a button. Create new experiments using Gamry Instruments’ Explain™ script language. Data manipulation and display occur in the Gamry Echem Analyst™.

The Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy software works with any of Gamry Instruments’ potentiostats. These instruments deliver research-grade performance in a compact design.

The software can measure impedance from 10 mHz to 100 kHz with no additional hardware. The potentiostat’s D/A and A/D converters apply a sine wave to the cell and measure the cell’s response.

The software is available as a complete turn-key system built around either a desktop or a laptop computer. It is also available as a board set and software kit that you can install in your existing host computer.
