Impedance EIS Pages

The standard impedance analysis contains the following pages at startup:

Bode

  • The heart of the impedance analysis. It contains the data plotted as frequency versus magnitude and phase.

Nyquist

  • A Nyquist plot of the data. This plot graphs the real versus the imaginary values of the impedance data.

Experimental Setup

  • A list of the parameters used to acquire the data.

Experimental Notes

  • The notes you entered before the data-acquisition. The Notes can be edited in the analysis, and saved with the changes to an analysis data file.

Hardware Settings

  • All of the potentiostat settings used during the experimental run.

Curve

  • The EIS raw data as a large grid. Use this tab to view the raw data file. You may also print the data or copy the data to the clipboard. From the clipboard, paste the data into another application, such as Excel®.
  • To select the entire data set, left-click on the upper left-hand edge of the grid. To print the data or to copy it to the clipboard, right-click on the selected area.

Additional Pages Which May Become Visible

Various Models

  • After a fit is performed on the impedance data, a page is added to summarize the results of that fit. The page name is the same as the model which was used to fit the data. In the event the same model is used more than once, only one page is added, and the results are updated to reflect the most recent fit. If different models are used, a new page is added for every model.
  • The fit results are displayed in a grid. You may print the grid or copy the grid to the clipboard. From the clipboard, past the results into another application, such as Excel.
  • To select the entire grid set, left-click on the upper left hand edge of the grid. To print the grid or to copy it to the clipboard, right-click on the selected area.
