Options

Units for Time

Time may be displayed in Days/Hours/Minutes/Seconds or Custom. Under Custom, you may enter the Name of a custom time unit and the factor relating it to seconds. For example, if hours were defined as a custom time unit, the name might be “hour” and the correct factor would be “3600”, because there are 3600 seconds in an hour.

A check box allows the time unit defined here to also be used for Open Circuit Potential data.

Data Grid

Checking this box produces a “Grid Table” for the data presented on the EFM Trend charts. This grid contains the point number, time, Rp, Corrosion Rate, Causality Factor 2, Causality Factor 3, Corrosion Current for each point on the EFM Trend Charts. Depending upon the Corrosion Type selected, either the anodic, cathodic, or anodic and cathodic Tafel constants are also listed.
