EIS Data Analysis Overview
The EIS System provides a set of analysis scripts which run under the Gamry Echem Analyst™. These tools are used for data analysis, presentation graphics, and reporting.
Analysis in the EIS software includes a sophisticated complex non-linear least-squares algorithm. It is used to fit an equivalent-circuit model to an impedance spectrum. A number of standard equivalent-circuit models are provided with the system.
Two analysis packages are provided.
- The first package handles a single impedance spectrum and allows curve-fitting and numerical analysis.
- The second package is dedicated to the analysis of Mott-Schottky plots.
In addition to the tools available in the Gamry Echem Analyst, the EIS software includes an equivalent-circuit model editor. You can use this editor to create and modify circuit models.
