Standard Techniques
These sections describe each of the standard EIS software measurement techniques. The descriptions include:
- A short overview of the technique and its uses.
- A look at the experimental sequence.
- A description of the parameters used in the setup.
- A description of the analyses that you can perform on the technique’s data.
Information relevant to all EIS techniques is discussed prior to the EIS technique description.
The included help files describe the standard technique scripts as supplied. The scripts can be edited. While we strongly recommend that you store a changed version of a script under a new name, we recognize that some people will ignore our recommendation. If you find that your EIS system does not work as we have described and there is a possibility that the standard script has been changed, please get your system back to normal. Save the changed script under a new name and get the standard script back by copying it from your original disk to your host computer’s hard disk.
NOTE: The information provided here does not attempt to teach you how to interpret the results of an experiment. A textbook or the original literature may aid you in this regard.
