Tutorial Two Introduction

The standard EIS technique is useful but it does have limitations. One of these is that its default parameters (such as AC amplitude and frequency limits) are not usable for all samples or tests. In most cases you will need to make changes in the experimental parameters to match your test conditions. Changing parameters does not involve any programming or generation of a new technique. All that is required are some entries into a dialog box on your host computer’s monitor.

After you have made your changes to the parameters used by an experiment, you can save all your new parameters in a named parameter set. When you need to repeat a test, you can recall that parameter set. This tutorial exercise demonstrates the techniques used to generate, save, and recall parameter sets.
