Add E Constant

The Add E Constant command offsets the active trace by a user-specified voltage. That is, you can use this function to reset the voltage scale to that for a different reference electrode than the one used in the experiment.

Method

Make the trace you wish to offset the Active trace. Do this by right-clicking on the trace and clicking Activate Trace.

Select the Add E Constant command from the document menu.

Enter the voltage to offset the trace in the window, and click the OK button.

NOTE: This function is cumulative, so if you add 0.14 V, and wish to make the total 0.07 V, the second time you would add –0.07 V to achieve this.
