The Gamry Framework™ software is the basis for all of Gamry Instruments’ Windows®-based software. All applications are accessible through the Framework menus. Even users who create their own custom software with the Echem ToolkitPy™ need the Framework to manage and calibrate their instruments.
The Framework is the program that launches when you select Framework from the Windows Start Menu or click the Framework icon on your desktop. It provides a menu structure, editing tools, and the Explain™ Experimental Control language for applications such as DC Corrosion and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy, among many others. Multiple Gamry Instruments applications can share one Framework.
Use the Gamry Framework for three basic purposes:
•Running experiments
•Editing experimental scripts
•Starting up the Gamry Echem Analyst 2™ software
