Multiplexed Potentiostatic allows applying a fixed or stepped voltage and measure current-versus-time curves on up to eight samples sequentially.
The samples are connected to the Framework™ system via a Multiplexer. The test is a fully-featured DC Corrosion Potentiostatic experiment.
In this multiplexed implementation of the Potentiostatic technique, the software cycles through those cells activated in the Setup window, connecting the system potentiostat to each cell in turn. The System Potentiostat measures the current flow on each cell. The Multiplexer's local potentiostats maintain the potential on each sample when the system potentiostat is connected to a different cell, as long as the potential is within ±12 V and the current needed is less than 30 mA.
