Description
The left pane shows a comprehensive list of all instruments that are currently connected or have been previously linked to the computer. The status of each instrument is represented by a colored circle, providing a quick visual indicator of its current stat:

The device is ready for use. The instrument can be modified in GIM or used to run an experiment. |

The device is currently in use. It cannot be used to run a different experiment until its current experiment is finished. |
|
|
The instrument is currently disconnected or powered off. |
Selecting an instrument opens the specific details in the right pane such as Device Info and Calibration Information.
Manage your Device List
Manage and re-arrange the instrument list. All commands are also available in the Quick-access toolbar.

Refresh the Device List. |

Remove all or only the selected disconnected device from the list. |
|
|
Sort the list alphabetically by the instruments' model type. The model type is displayed in the right pane under Customize your Instrument's Name. |

Move the selected instrument to the top of the Device List. |

Move Up |
Move the selected instrument one position up within the Device List. |

Move Down |
Move the selected instrument one position down within the Device List. |

Move to Bottom |
Move the selected instrument to the bottom of the Device List. |
