Description
Each Gamry instrument has a default label that consists of its model name, followed by a <dash> (-), and the five-digit serial number (e.g., IFC1010-01860). The label is displayed in the Device status bar and when selecting a potentiostat in the Setup dialog box.
You can fully customize the label in the Gamry Instrument Manager.

The serial number remains unchanged even after changing the name of the potentiostat. It can be found in the Device Info section within the Gamry Instrument Manager. |
1.Click the instrument whose label you wish to change
2.Click the label itself, and then enter a new, unique name. Press the green checkmark to confirm the new name.

Do not forget to the change also the front overlay label of your potentiostat. A description can be found in the instrument's Operator's Manual. |
