Description
By default, Gamry Framework™ includes a Device status bar below its main menu, displaying all connected Gamry potentiostats and other Gamry devices recognized by the software. Each device's status is indicated by a colored circle alongside its label.
If the Device Status Bar does not appear when launching Framework, it might be disabled. To enable it, navigate to Options > View Device Status Bar.

The device is ready to run an experiment. Its firmware is up-to-date and compatible with the current version of Framework. |

The device is currently in use and not ready to run an experiment until the current process is finished. |

The device is connected to the system but not usable. This is generally the result of a mismatch between the Framework software and the device’s firmware. Go to the Gamry Instrument Manager (GIM) to fix the mismatch. |
