Critical Pitting Temperature (2)

Description

The Critical Pitting Temperature (CPT) experiment determines the temperature at which a specimen first undergoes localized corrosion. The script automates temperature-control and data-collection.

Potentiostatic current-versus-time curves are recorded at increasing temperatures. Curves are recorded until the cell current exceeds an entered current limit or the final temperature is reached.
