A user-defined sequence is an experiment protocol created using Gamry's Sequence Wizard.
Individual steps such as experiments or commands can be added from the Available Steps panel on the left side using the move buttons at the bottom or simply by dragging items with the mouse. Existing sequences can be opened in the Sequence Wizard using the Load Sequence button.
Visually, the user-defined sequence has a tree structure that displays the steps in the order they are executed. Each step in the sequence is processed sequentially from top to bottom, while certain commands, such as loops, include sub-steps indicated by indentation
The following example shows a user-defined sequence that executes the following tasks:
1.Allow the user to manually select a potentiostat during runtime.
2.Once a potentiostat is selected, perform an Open Circuit Potential measurement.
3.Loop the Polarization Resistance experiment, including a delay between each run.
Refer to each experiment's description in the Experiment section for more information on the setup parameters. |
